Gapado Island is Jeju's fourth largest island, located off the southwestern coast. The island is said to look like a ray swimming in the waves, giving the island its name. A bicycle rental shop is located right at the harbor, allowing visitors to tour the entire island in 1-2 hours. The best time to visit Gapado Island is in April and May, when the barley is ripe.
